**Police Respond to Domestic Violence Incident Shooting**

**Officer Involved Shooting in Port St. Lucie**
Port St. Lucie, FL - The Port St. Lucie Police Department responded to a domestic violence incident in the 600 block of NW Marion Avenue at approximately 3:08 PM. Upon arrival, officers found an adult female, children, and an adult male suspect.
The male suspect was armed with an explosive device, and during the incident, an officer involved shooting occurred. The suspect was pronounced deceased shortly after the shooting.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is now at the scene and has assumed the investigation. Authorities have confirmed that there is no ongoing threat to the community; however, the scene remains active.
As part of the response, the 200 block of NW Bayshore Boulevard and the 600 block of NW Marion Avenue were initially closed to traffic. NW Bayshore Boulevard has since reopened.
For media coverage, the staging area is located at the intersection of NW Bayshore Boulevard and NW Marion Avenue. Further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
