The 5th Annual St. Lucie County Fire Fighters Chili Cook-Off is scheduled for December 14, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The event will take place at Hop Life Brewing, located at 679 NW Enterprise in St. Lucie County.

Attendees can look forward to live music, a variety of chili options, beer, raffles, and other fun activities. The event aims to support Autism Awareness.

EDC names new marketing and communications manager

The Economic Development Council of St. Lucie County said Maureen Saltzer will retire effective July 3. Wicker Perlis joined the EDC on June 22 as its marketing and communications manager.

Natural Wellness Expo Announced at MIDFLORIDA Event Center

St. Lucie County Fire District held a graduation ceremony for Recruit Class 26-1 with families, friends, instructors, and fellow firefighters. The district said the recruits completed training and are joining the fire service.

The MIDFLORIDA Event Center in Port St. Lucie says it is open during regular business hours for Juneteenth. The center will host a Juneteenth Celebration of Unity event this evening from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

Port St. Lucie is promoting a VIP Experience for its July 4 Freedomfest celebration. VIP tickets cost $75 for adults and $35 for children ages 3 to 12.
